My Thoi implements cashless payments

On the afternoon of September 25, the People's Committee of My Thoi Ward (An Giang Province) held a conference to deploy the implementation of cashless payments in the commercial sector towards developing digital technology for people in the ward by the end of 2025.

According to the plan, the People's Committee of My Thoi Ward selected 50% of the hamlets in the ward to implement cashless payments in the commercial sector, including the hamlets: An Hung, Trung Hung, Trung An, An Thoi, Thanh An, Dong Thanh, Dong Thanh B, Thoi An, Thoi Hoa, Hoa Thanh.

At the same time, implement at Cai Sao market and Cai San market the fee for using sales area between traders and business units exploiting and managing the market, between traders and customers.

To implement the cashless payment model, the Ward People's Committee coordinated with Agribank An Giang, VNPT An Giang and related units to organize propaganda, instruct people to install software, open free accounts and operate cashless payments when people come to buy goods through cashless payment methods, such as: Payment via QR Code, popular e-wallets, payment via Pos machines of banks; online bank accounts and specialized payment software...
