Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Van Thang, former Principal of An Giang University, said: “This research has created a breakthrough in the study of Buu Son Ky Huong. Previously, although many authors had researched Buu Son Ky Huong, it was not systematic, it was scattered and there were still many open issues, especially when Buu Son Ky Huong formed branches and the process of religious transformation, etc. This research has deeply systematized Buu Son Ky Huong through the stages in many different aspects. At the same time, the work also provides new knowledge about a religion that many scholars in Vietnam have not been interested in or focused on researching, which is the Tu An Buddhism religion. This is an important discovery in the study of Vietnamese culture in general, and Southern beliefs and religions in particular.”
