Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province Le Duc Tien has just signed and issued the plan for Traffic Safety Year 2025 with the theme "Safe journey, creating the future".

The objective of the plan is to raise awareness and sense of law compliance of traffic participants and build a culture of safe traffic. Strive to reduce the number of cases, deaths and injuries due to traffic accidents by more than 5% compared to 2024; focusing on ensuring security, safety of health, life and property of the people; overcoming traffic congestion.
The key task groups to be implemented include improving the capacity, effectiveness and efficiency of management and operation of traffic order and safety work of functional forces and units, especially in patrolling, controlling and handling traffic violations.
Ensure progress and quality of key projects; properly manage safety corridors of roads, railways, and inland waterways; promptly repair locations and road sections with potential traffic safety risks; continue to eliminate self-opened paths across railways.
Innovate the content and form of propaganda, dissemination and education of traffic laws in an easy-to-understand and easy-to-absorb manner, suitable for each region, area, locality, age, religion, especially youth, teenagers, pupils, students... to create a strong change in awareness and action of all levels, sectors and people in ensuring traffic order and safety.
Improve the capacity for rescue, treatment of victims and overcoming the consequences of traffic accidents; improve the capacity for first aid in traffic accidents for medical staff in villages, hamlets and health stations; improve the professional capacity, means and equipment for hospitals and district-level health centers to ensure the ability to access the scene and treat injuries for traffic accident victims.
