85 years since its establishment (July 20, 1940), the Nam Sach District Party Committee has led and promoted the strength of the entire political system, bringing a purely agricultural district to comprehensive innovation, and people's lives have increasingly improved.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, Nam Sach district achieved an economic growth rate of 13.1%/year. The average income per capita has reached 90.5 million VND/year, higher than the average level of the province.

Modern industrial parks and clusters have been and are being formed, attracting many domestic and foreign investors, creating more jobs for workers.

Transport infrastructure is heavily invested in the direction of inter-regional connectivity, creating a foundation for sustainable development.

In 2024, Nam Sach will be the first district in the province to have 100% of communes and towns having OCOP products. It is estimated that by the end of 2025, the whole district will have 76 OCOP products.

Administrative reform and digital transformation have been identified by the district as one of the strategic breakthroughs to promote development. Nam Sach is the leading district of Hai Duong province in classifying, collecting and treating domestic solid waste to protect the environment.
