In addition, Thu Duc Regional Medical Center will support training and medical expertise for the staff of Tam An Nursing Home, ensuring the highest quality of service.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Tran Thanh Sang, Director of Thu Duc Regional Medical Center, said that Ho Chi Minh City is the locality with the highest rate of aging population in the country, posing a problem of health care, when on average, the elderly will face many diseases at the same time such as high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, asthma, COPD - chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, dementia, etc.

According to Ms. Mai Thi Huong, Director of Tam An Nursing Home, the elderly are vulnerable groups that need special care and attention in both physical and mental health. In particular, regular health check-ups to assess the condition and timely dispensing of health insurance drugs are extremely important. When there is a medical unit accompanying the regular check-ups, the facility as well as the elderly will be more proactive in the check-up plan and minimize waiting time.
