The Ho Chi Minh City literary team regularly adds new faces, from the 6X, 7X generation to the next generation 8X, 9X and now the Gen Z, Gen Alpha generation...

The program's guests are the authors: Vo Thu Huong, Nguyen Dinh Khoa, Bui Tieu Quyen and Tran Duc Tin. These are all authors of the 8X generation, who have participated enthusiastically and vigorously in the literary life of Ho Chi Minh City and have more or less established a position for themselves.

According to writer Vo Thu Huong, young literature in Ho Chi Minh City is like waves, each wave following the previous one but not overlapping each other. “Everyone is free and comfortable to express their creative personality. The large participation of generations helps young writers feel encouraged and inspired to write for each other. In addition, there is another special thing: the number of literary readers in Ho Chi Minh City is also greater than in other regions. This is also like a boost for young writers,” said writer Vo Thu Huong.
Writer Bui Tieu Quyen - who joined the young literature of Ho Chi Minh City early in the role of both writer and journalist - said that the city's literature is like a stream, always being nurtured and continued through generations.

In his observation, writer Bui Tieu Quyen commented: “The energy, creative range and themes in the works of young writers in Ho Chi Minh City are very wide. Most of them come from many provinces and cities across the country, so the authors’ literature carries the influence of many different regions. Thanks to that, Ho Chi Minh City’s young writers have a variety of dimensions.
Besides, life is always developing every day, young people have access to many achievements of science , technology, which helps the inner field, the field of thought of the written pages to be expanded, keeping up with the breath of contemporary life. That diversity creates a strong vitality, bringing new things that readers can find in young literature of Ho Chi Minh City".
