Peak heat in the North

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, severe to extremely severe heat is continuing in the North and the area from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue.

On June 2-3, the temperature in this area is forecast to increase to a maximum of 36-39 degrees, with some places exceeding 40 degrees.

From Da Nang to Phu Yen , the temperature is milder, with the highest being 35-37 degrees, some places above 37 degrees; the lowest relative humidity is 50-65%.

From June 4, the heat in the North and the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen tends to gradually ease.

Meteorological experts note that the predicted temperature in the heat bulletin and the actual temperature felt outdoors can differ by 2-4 degrees, or even higher depending on the conditions of the surface such as concrete and asphalt.

In addition, in the South Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some heavy rain, concentrated in the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms in these areas are likely to last for many days to come.

Northwest

Northeast

Cloudy, hot and very hot during the day, with some areas experiencing severe heat; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. Light winds. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 27-30 degrees, in mountainous areas below 26 degrees. Highest temperature: 36-39 degrees, in some places above 40 degrees.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue

Cloudy, hot and very hot during the day, with some areas experiencing severe heat; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. Light winds. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 28-31 degrees. Highest temperature: 36-39 degrees, some places over 40 degrees.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

Cloudy, sunny during the day, especially in the North where it is hot and extremely hot in some places; in the evening and at night there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places. Light wind. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 26-29 degrees. Highest temperature: North 35-37 degrees, some places above 37 degrees; South 32-35 degrees.

Central Highlands

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, rain in the evening and at night, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. Southwest wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 21-24 degrees. Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees.

Southern Vietnam

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, rain in the evening and at night, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. Southwest wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees. Highest temperature: 32-35 degrees.

Hanoi

Cloudy, hot and sunny days, no rain at night. Light wind.

Lowest temperature: 27-29 degrees. Highest temperature: 36-38 degrees, some places above 38 degrees.
