Shrimp rolls or sugarcane rolls is a Vietnamese dish ranked 28th on TasteAtlas' list. This dish, originating from the ancient capital of Hue, is becoming increasingly popular in the daily lives of people across Vietnam.
Shrimp is minced, sometimes with pork added and seasoned with spices such as garlic and fish sauce, then wrapped around short pieces of sugarcane and steamed, grilled or fried.
Shrimp paste is considered by TasteAtlas to be an ideal choice as an appetizer or a snack. In addition to the harmonious sweet and sour dipping sauce, shrimp paste is often served with raw vegetables and rice noodles.
Spring rolls (or nem ran) are number 85 on the list. The main feature of this dish is the pork and shrimp filling wrapped in a thin rice paper.
