The Russian leader answered nearly 80 questions from citizens and journalists on domestic and international issues. He said that there are currently about 617,000 Russian soldiers participating in the military mission in Ukraine, of which about 244,000 are called up to fight alongside Russia's professional military forces. Ukrainian servicemen launch a kamikaze FPV unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on the front line, near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, on December 12, as tensions between the country and Russia continue to escalate. Kamikaze UAVs, also known as suicide drones, are also known as “loitering bombs” due to their ability to hover for a while over a potential target area and only attack when the target is clearly identified.
