The State Bank of Vietnam has awarded 5 billion VND in funding to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Lao Cai province.

On the morning of September 7, at Sen Vang Palace Wedding Center, Viet Tri Ward, Phu Tho Province, the State Bank of Vietnam awarded funds to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 3 provinces: Phu Tho, Lao Cai and Tuyen Quang.

Attending were comrades: Dao Minh Tu - Permanent Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam , Chairman of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union; Nguyen Khanh Chi - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union.

On the side of Lao Cai province, there was comrade Vu Thi Hien Hanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province.

Comrade Dao Minh Tu - Permanent Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam spoke at the program.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Dao Minh Tu said: Over the years, the banking industry has always accompanied the entire political system in social security programs, especially in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor and people with difficult housing circumstances.

Responding to the peak period of "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" under the direction of the Prime Minister, the banking industry has launched a competition movement "Join hands to eliminate 1,000 temporary and dilapidated houses" nationwide. Up to now, the banking industry has mobilized 82 billion VND, equivalent to 1,366 newly built houses, exceeding the initial target by 36.6%.

Lao Cai province is one of the localities receiving support this time, with a budget of 5 billion VND taken from the contribution of one day's salary of all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the banking sector...

Comrade Nguyen Khanh Chi - Permanent Vice President of the State Bank of Vietnam Trade Union presented financial support to Lao Cai province.

The timely and practical support of the banking industry is important, helping Lao Cai have more resources to support and continue to successfully implement the program.

With the donated funds, Lao Cai province will direct all sectors and levels to use them for the right purposes, promptly allocate and provide timely support to beneficiaries of the Program to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
