Railway industry transports relief goods for free

From today, September 11, at 8 stations in the Central and Southern regions, Vietnam Railways Corporation will receive and transport free relief goods for people in provinces affected by storm No. 3.

General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation ( VNR ) - Mr. Hoang Gia Khanh has just signed an Official Dispatch to the People's Committee, Fatherland Front, and Red Cross Associations of localities regarding the organization of transporting relief goods to people in provinces affected by storm No. 3.

Due to the impact of storm No. 3 - Yagi and its circulation, the northern provinces and cities have continuously suffered a series of unprecedented natural disasters, affecting tens of millions of people. Relief work is taking place urgently in affected localities, and relief goods are being transported by organizations and individuals across the country to addresses in need of relief.

Recognizing the urgency and necessity of the relief work, in order to join hands to ensure the smooth and timely transportation of relief goods, VNR will support the free transportation of relief goods to people in provinces affected by storm No. 3.

Accordingly, the transport objects are relief goods for people in provinces affected by storm No. 3 from organizations and individuals through the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front, and Provincial Red Cross.
