Blood donation festival "Red drops of the city of the river junction"

On October 9, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Viet Tri City coordinated with the Provincial General Hospital to organize the 4th Blood Donation Festival "Red Drops of the River Junction City" in 2024 with the message "Donate blood - Give life".

The festival had the participation of more than 600 volunteers who are officials, civil servants, teachers, and workers working at the People's Committee of Viet Tri city and communes, wards, and schools in the city. To facilitate volunteers to participate in blood donation, the Organizing Committee arranged areas for health screening, blood tests, blood reception, and blood donation to ensure a wide and scientific environment .

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee received 585 units of safe, quality blood, including 286 units of 350ml blood and 295 units of 250ml blood, contributing to ensuring blood supply for timely emergency and treatment for patients with anemia and blood diseases.
