Nghe An sets a record for high school graduation exam scores in 2025

On the afternoon of July 15, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the distribution of high school graduation exam scores in 2025. According to statistics, Nghe An is the province with the highest average high school graduation exam score in the country. This is the first time Nghe An has risen to the top of the country in terms of high school graduation exam scores.

Specifically, Nghe An ranked first in the country in terms of average score in Literature. The whole province had more than 39,000 candidates taking the Literature exam, with an average score of 8.035, the highest in the country.

In addition, Nghe An is also in the top 10 with many subjects with the highest average scores in the country, including: Chemistry, Physics, Information Technology, History, Geography, Agricultural Technology, English.

Specifically, in Geography, Nghe An ranked 3rd in the country with an average score of 6,942. The whole province had 557 students with a score of 10 in Geography, ranking 2nd in the country.

In History, Nghe An ranked 4th in the country with an average score of 6.857; ranked 4th in the country with a score of 10 with 108 students.

In Physics, the average score of the whole province is 7,215 points; ranked 6th in the country. In this subject, Nghe An has 192 students with 10 points, ranked 6th in the country.

In English, Nghe An's average score is 5,394 points; ranked 7th in the country. This is the first time Nghe An's English score has been in the top of the country. In recent years, the education sector of Nghe An province has had many solutions to strengthen and improve the quality of English teaching in schools.

In Agricultural Technology, Nghe An ranked 6th in the country with an average score of 8.033 and ranked 2nd in the country in terms of 10 points with 11 students.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Chief of Office of Nghe An Department of Education and Training said that immediately after the exam results are available, Nghe An Department of Education and Training will approve the high school graduation results on July 17. At the same time, it will organize the reception of appeal applications and review according to regulations to ensure the rights of students.
