Nghe An organizes livestream to promote and consume OCOP products

On the morning of December 28, Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center organized the program "Livestream connecting and consuming OCOP products, Nghe An province specialties for the second time". This is the second livestream program organized with many diverse and quality products.

The program aims to widely promote the image, quality, and value of the brand of Nghe An province's typical products to domestic and foreign consumers on e-commerce platforms. Thereby, enhancing the image, role, and production capacity of products, promoting the consumption of Nghe An province's products.

This livestream program has the participation of 15 production units with 42 OCOP products and specialties of Nghe An such as: Huoi Tu snow Shan tea, Thanh Chuong pickled vegetables, Nam Dan soy sauce, Thanh Chuong black plum, Cua Lo fish sauce, Cua Lo seafood, veal ham, Quy Chau sausage... At the program, each unit presented their products, customers who want to buy the products can contact the unit directly or through comments on the live livestream channels.

With the participation of influential figures (KOL), the livestream attracted tens of thousands of followers, interactions and thousands of orders were sold. The organizers will deduct 15% of the profits from the sales to organize a warm Tet for poor children in Ky Son.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Deputy Director of Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center said: "Through livestream activities to increase interaction between consumers and production, supply and trade units, contributing to promoting the consumption of OCOP products.

From there, it contributes to changing the awareness and thinking of manufacturers and suppliers from small-scale, spontaneous to digital-based business thinking to diversify sales methods, approach large markets, and open up new opportunities for producers and traders of OCOP products.
