In recent days, many Vivo phone users have continuously posted complaints on social networks because the CCCD chip has errors after scanning NFC to update biometrics.

On the group "Vietnam Vivo Community" with more than 33,000 members, account HM said that after using Vivo X100 Ultra phone to scan the chip on CCCD, the CCCD caused an error. While before that, this person used iPhone to scan CCCD without any problem.

"I saw many Vivo users also reported that their CCCD chip was damaged when scanning with Vivo phones, so I tested it and didn't expect it to be really faulty. Now I have to go get my CCCD done a second time. By the way, if anyone buys the X100 Ultra, I'll sell it to them" - account H shared.

According to records, many users on social networks are still continuing to share problems with CCCD chips after scanning with Vivo phones, mainly falling into high-end Vivo lines in hand-carried form, such as vivo X80 Pro, vivo X100 Pro, vivo X100 Ultra.

Speaking to a reporter from the Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Vivo Vietnam said that they had recorded a situation where some people had an error with their CCCD chip when scanning biometric authentication on the banking application via the company's phone. Currently, Vivo is coordinating with relevant departments and factories to investigate and verify the information, and will notify users.

Regarding the reason why the CCCD card cannot be scanned, Vivo said that the NFC recognition software of some phone lines is not compatible with the NFC chip of the CCCD.

"We are gradually releasing new software versions from the night of July 9 for Vivo phone lines that are having the above problem, including both hand-carried and genuine products in Vietnam" - this representative said.
