The presence of a group of young players, including: Tran Trung Kien, Khuat Van Khang, Nguyen Hieu Minh, Nguyen Xuan Bac, Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Nguyen Phi Hoang, Nguyen Nhat Minh and Nguyen Dinh Bac promises to bring a new breeze in the way of building tactical strategies for the Vietnamese team.

This time, coach Kim Sang-sik also created a surprise when he did not call up goalkeeper Nguyen Filip and instead called up "spider-man" Dang Van Lam. The return of the Russian-Vietnamese goalkeeper is considered a way to strengthen the defense of the Vietnamese team in the upcoming two matches against Nepal.
According to the plan, the Vietnamese team will gather again on October 4 in Ho Chi Minh City. The first leg match between Vietnam and Nepal will take place at Go Dau Stadium on October 9, while the second leg will be held at Thong Nhat Stadium (Ho Chi Minh City) on October 14.
