Ba Den Mountain climbing activities temporarily suspended due to bad weather and landslide risk

(NLDO) - There have been many cases of accidents due to falls, getting lost... in the Ba Den mountain area.

On September 30, the Management Board of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area, Tay Ninh Province announced the temporary suspension of mountain climbing and picnicking activities at Ba Den Mountain Cultural-Historical Forest from October 1 until further notice.

This move was made at a time when the weather in the South is complex and unpredictable, and this area is at high risk of landslides, rolling rocks, and slippery roads.

These factors can endanger the lives and property of tourists and residents.

Previously, in the Ba Den mountain area, there were many cases of accidents due to falls, getting lost, etc., causing mental and physical damage to climbers and picnickers, and making it very difficult for rescue and relief forces.

The Management Board of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area requests residents and visitors to strictly follow safety recommendations. The unit coordinates with competent authorities to regularly inspect, monitor, resolutely prevent and handle violations in accordance with the law.
