On the morning of July 7 (Vietnam time), Thuy Linh (ranked 23rd in the world ) entered the women's singles championship match of the Canada Open 2025 with Japanese tennis player Manami Suizu (ranked 35th in the world).
In set 1, Thuy Linh could only chase her opponent in the early stages and tied 5-5.
After that, the Vietnamese player had trouble with Manami Suizu's precise shots. Thuy Linh then quickly lost with a score of 12-21.
