During 24 consecutive hours (from 12:00 on September 27 to 12:00 on September 28), the AI Camera system at km 20, Noi Bai - Lao Cai route recorded 2,390 vehicles traveling with an average speed of 71 km/h.

However, no traffic violations were detected. This is the first time the system has reported a clean result since it began operating.

Previously, the AI Camera system had recorded hundreds of violations in a short period of time, especially errors that were difficult to detect with the naked eye, such as not wearing a seat belt, using a phone while driving, or carrying more people than the prescribed number.

This shows that, despite the large traffic volume, traffic participants still maintain safe speeds and comply with traffic laws.

This is the clearest evidence that drivers’ awareness of obeying traffic laws has been significantly improved. The presence of AI “magic eyes” has set a new standard for transparency in traffic.

This transparency has strongly encouraged traffic participants to proactively raise awareness, contributing to building a safe traffic culture.

Through this result, the Traffic Police Department hopes that people will continue to promote a sense of responsibility and obey the law when participating in traffic.
