Throughout the four days of competition, the 16-year-old golfer maintained excellent consistency, with two rounds of even par and two rounds of excellent under par. The 16-year-old golfer finished the tournament with a total score of (-10), after four rounds (70-64-70-66), ranking 27th overall.
This victory not only brought Tuan Anh the title of Best Amateur - the best amateur golfer of the tournament, but also affirmed the mettle, maturity and potential to reach international level of the reigning National Golf Champion.
Tuan Anh is in great form. Only half way through 2025, Nguyen Tuan Anh already has a huge list of achievements. The 16-year-old golfer won the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final, was runner-up at the APGC Junior Championship, and was crowned Vietnam Junior Open champion by a margin of 10 strokes.
The highlight was the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025 at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon, where Tuan Anh overcame the monument Truong Chi Quan in a match considered one of the most memorable matches in the history of the tournament.
