Since its first public debut in 2009, the concert " What Remains Forever" taking place at 2:00 p.m. on September 2 at the Opera House has become an indispensable spiritual food for music lovers on the occasion of National Day.

Honoring the diversity in the picture of Vietnamese music has been the highest mission of What Remains Forever throughout its 13 years of organization.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ba, Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet Newspaper, the organizer of the Concert "What remains forever" said that this year the program still retains the soul of the Vietnamese music treasure but has innovations to continue bringing the National Concert "What remains forever " 2023 closer to the public.
"The concert What Remains Forever will be an artistic rendezvous for artists to express their youthful enthusiasm and contribute to the program as well as the development of Vietnamese art," said Mr. Nguyen Van Ba.
Sharing about the new things of the program, Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet Newspaper said that with Dieu con mai 2023 , musician Tran Manh Hung not only edited but also arranged, harmonized and arranged all the works. This creates consistency in the musical script.
In addition, the program production team decided to invite Dong Quang Vinh to be the conductor. Taking on the role of conductor of the concert Dieu con mai 2023 for the first time, conductor Dong Quang Vinh said this was a great honor for him.
"The previous programs of What Remains Forever were performed very well. This year, there are many new features that require the efforts of many people. In just about two hours of the program, how can the performances be strung together to form a story, with rich content about Vietnamese history and culture with Vietnamese spirit, Vietnamese dream and convey the message about love of country, love of labor and the strength of national solidarity accurately, aiming towards the future in a reasonable way is not easy. But I believe that the enthusiasm of the production team will leave many deep impressions."

The program also brings together famous artists such as Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Pham Thu Ha, Do To Hoa, Pham Khanh Ngoc, Dao Mac, Tung Duong, Oplus music group, Vietnam Symphony Orchestra, Kosmos Opera Choir...
Along with that, the new factor this year must mention An Tran - daughter of saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan. As the only young artist at Dieu Con Mai 2023, An Tran said she was very proud, excited and nervous. Although she has performed on many large and small stages, this is the first time she has performed independently with the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra.

It is known that the daughter of saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan will perform the song " Mother loves my child" : "Mother loves my child is a song I have heard since I was little, so it feels very familiar. Luckily, my father - artist Tran Manh Tuan - guided me in practicing. My father meticulously analyzed each part, and the two of us called to discuss with the program's Music Director Tran Manh Hung to have a complete score. I hope to convey the song with the most gentle, innocent and emotional spirit through the sound of the saxophone."
The National Concert Forever 2023 will take place at 2:00 p.m. on National Day, September 2, 2023, at the Hanoi Opera House.
