Hanoi Autumn Festival 2024 is held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10), at the same time promoting the beauty, cultural, historical and tourism values, exploiting the uniqueness, attractiveness, honoring the scenic spots, relics and heritage sites of Hanoi - an attractive, quality and safe tourist destination.
In addition to the opening ceremony and the art program "Autumn in Hanoi " on September 13 organized by the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion at the stage of the Ba Kieu Temple flower garden area, there will be about 150 booths participating in the Festival divided into areas according to design and staging along Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Le Thach Street and the Octagonal House area.
The highlights of the Festival are spaces and models introducing and promoting Hanoi's historical relics; spaces recreating the image of a bustling Hanoi filled with flags and flowers welcoming the victorious army back; the space "Hanoi 12 flower seasons"; areas introducing typical tourism products and destinations; spaces promoting craft village products and the culinary space "Fragrance and beauty of Hanoi".
In addition, there are booths to promote tourism in provinces and cities. Booths of international tourism agencies to introduce cultural and tourist destinations of countries, promoting bilateral tourism activities. Cultural, artistic, entertainment and recreation experience space "Hanoi - Youthful Life".
The program also includes activities such as parades and performances by the City Youth Union and 30 districts, towns and cities (lion and dragon dances, mid-autumn lantern parades, kite and flower performances, dry puppetry, etc.); introduction of Hanoi's culinary culture. At the same time, folk dance and sports dance programs are organized; ao dai fashion shows; children's parades, children's painting and children's painting exhibitions. Some districts and towns introduce products and cultural and tourist destinations on stage and at booths.
According to the plan, the Festival will be held for 4 days, from September 12 to September 15, 2024, at the Ba Kieu Temple flower garden area, Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Ly Thai To flower garden area (yard 3 in front of Ly Thai To Monument, Octagonal House), Le Thach Street (Hoan Kiem District) and a number of districts in the city.
The Hanoi People's Committee requests relevant departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts, towns, and relevant units to implement the Plan to ensure content and progress. The organization of the Hanoi Autumn Festival must ensure efficiency, economy, and combine budget sources and social mobilization sources according to regulations.
