Instead of "fixing" the time and announcing the benchmark scores like other universities, this year, the University of Finance and Marketing (UFM) plans to livestream (broadcast live) to announce impressive benchmark scores with a broadcast lasting from morning to night.

From 8am this morning (August 22), University of Finance - Marketing has started livestreaming
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung, Deputy Head of Admissions - Communications and Corporate Relations Department - University of Finance - Marketing, said that the entire consultation process will be broadcast live - a special Mega live session on the school's digital platforms.
"Previously, the school only livestreamed to announce the benchmark scores, not investing in Mega live like that. In particular, this year, the school also organized livestreams to connect the bridges and introduce each of the school's facilities," said Master Phung.
The program is not just a score announcement ceremony but also a comprehensive event designed to answer all questions of candidates and parents. In addition to announcing the benchmark scores, the program will provide other important contents, including: Important notes right after candidates know the benchmark scores; detailed instructions on the process and procedures for admission in 2025.
Some typical consulting activities include: From 8:00 to 11:00 am, explore UFM and interact with outstanding students; from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, online consulting on the topic "Preparing mentally to face the admission results"; from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, announcement of admission scores to UFM in 2025.
Pressure with special live session
MSc. Pham Thai Son, Director of the Admissions and Communications Center - Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, said that the school has prepared 2 cameras and 1 backup camera. The original livestream plan was 6 p.m., but there was an urgent announcement to change it to 3 p.m. this afternoon. Despite the sudden change, the crew still had everything ready, ready to "go live" at any time.
"This is not the first time the school has organized a livestream consultation, but it also faces a lot of pressure because the benchmark scores are announced, many candidates and parents are watching, and mistakes must be minimized" - MSc. Son clearly stated.
Through virtual filtering, the school predicts that the admission score based on graduation exam scores may range from 17 to 24.5 points. In particular, the majors of English language, Chinese language, business administration, law, international business, marketing... will likely have a score of 23 points or higher.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade's livestream team is ready to announce the benchmark scores.
MSc. Nguyen Thuy Vuong Khanh, Director of the Center for Communication and Admissions - Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics , said that according to statistics on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training, the school received nearly 3,000 applications to enroll in the school.
Although the school is still in the 10th virtual screening process, it has carefully prepared for the livestream admission consultation session taking place this afternoon.
"The livestream session will start from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This is also the most invested livestream session ever of the school. Currently, the team is testing the program to check the signal and equipment before "on air"" - Master Khanh informed.
