While in the 2000s, Vietnam was still a new name in the UK, the dynamic Southeast Asian country is now mentioned by many British businesses and people as a tourist and culinary paradise and a potential investment destination. This achievement comes from the continuous efforts in promoting good relations between the two countries, including a small contribution from the Vietnam-UK Friendship Network, a bilateral cooperation organization established when Vietnam was still unfamiliar to many British people.
