During her high school years, Khanh Linh was the class monitor, achieved the title of excellent student for many years in a row and won first prize at the provincial English Olympic contest.

Being in the Party ranks while still in school was also the dream and ideal of Cao Nu Minh Trang, a former 12th grade student at Trung Hoa Secondary and High School, Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province.

Becoming a young party member is Minh Trang's great pride and happiness. Having that joy is not only thanks to Trang's own efforts but also the guidance and instruction of her teachers at school.

"On the day of admission, I prepared very carefully. The National Anthem and the Internationale played, and I felt excited, happy, proud, and even anxious. Becoming a Party member is a turning point, marking my maturity, and a solid foundation for me to confidently walk on the road ahead," Minh Trang confided.

Teacher Dinh Phan Thuy Yen, Vice Principal in charge of Trung Hoa Secondary and High School, said that Cao Nu Minh Trang was the first student of the school to join the Party while in 12th grade.

According to Ms. Yen, young party member Minh Trang is an active, responsible person with many high achievements in studying, is an excellent student in all 12 years of school; achieved the title of "3 Good Students" at the provincial level; has many contributions in the union activities and youth movements of the school.

Quang Binh has nearly 40 grassroots party organizations in schools. In recent years, the work of creating sources for developing party members has received great attention from Party committees at all levels. On average, each year, 6-10 students are admitted to the Party and dozens of union members and excellent students are sent to attend Party sympathy classes.

The leader of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Binh province said that recently, the Department has given strong direction to its affiliated units on the work of detecting, training and developing party members in schools for teachers and students of high schools.

The organization of admitting Party members from high school students not only recognizes the efforts of the elite masses but also creates an environment for Party development among the young. Thereby, it arouses the desire to contribute, spreads the young generation's love and trust in the Party and multiplies the "red seeds" to practically build a high-quality successor team for the Party.
