The first season of the S - Financial Investment Competition (S-FIC 2024) organized by the SCUE Securities Club of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) officially opened applications from September 7-22.

S-FIC 2024 is a completely new playground that gathers "talents" nationwide in the fields of economics, finance, banking and securities to compete to be worthy of the championship title.

This is also a gathering place for young and passionate talents in the financial field, where you will constantly explore , create and gain practical experience.

Here, you not only learn knowledge but also have the opportunity to practice essential skills, build a strong network of connections and open doors to promising career opportunities.

In addition, S-FIC 2024 is a place where theory goes hand in hand with practice, helping you accumulate valuable knowledge to be ready to enter the race in the fierce financial market. Step 4: The system will send the exam code to the email that the student uses to log in and register.

Registration time: 20:00 September 7, 2024 to 23:30 September 22, 2012

(The test system is open from 20:00 on September 7, 2024 to 00:00 on September 23, 2024).

Contest rules

ROUND 1: Online Test (September 7 - September 21)

Format: Candidates take the exam online individually or in groups

Content: Candidates will answer 30 multiple choice questions in 30 minutes covering the following areas: logical thinking, investment, finance, banking and stock market. Students can take the test in teams or individually:

Individual: for candidates who register to take the test individually in round 1: "Online Test", after entering round 2, you will be formed into a team to continue to round 2.

Team: For those who register as a team, each team will consist of 3 members, each member will take an individual multiple choice test in round 1.

ROUND 2: Offline Test + Case Solution (September 28 - September 29)

Format: Offline

Content: After entering round 2, to ensure fairness and transparency, the 40 best teams in round 1 will take an offline test individually and solve cases in team form to select the teams with the best performance.

Exam structure:

Offline Test: The test will focus on investment, stock and financial knowledge, including 40 questions in 50 minutes.

Case Study: Each team will solve a real-life Case Study within 30 minutes.

ROUND 3: Trading + Report (October 7 - November 1)

Format: Online

Content: After 2 rounds of knowledge testing, the top 12 teams with the highest scores will enter the trading round and write their team portfolio reports. Each team will have a representative account to trade stocks within 1 month. During the trading period, the teams will also write their team portfolio reports and the reports will be presented in the second round of the final round.

ROUND 4: Final S - FIC (expected November 16)

Stage 2: "Case Study Solving"

Stage 3: "Stock code presentation"

Benefits of participation

Student ID will be updated when achieving 50% or more of round 1 of the competition (For UEH students).

Students participating can learn and expand their knowledge and skills in stock investment.

Interact and share with speakers with many years of experience in the stock market.
