In the past period, the workers' movement and trade union activities of Farm 717 have had many improvements, always promoting the role of a shock force, taking the lead in organizing and implementing the farm's key political tasks. In addition, the trade union organization always protects the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union officials and members; especially ensuring jobs, increasing stable income for workers and social policy activities such as: Participating in the program "Union shelter of comradeship"; visiting and giving gifts to sick, disadvantaged, and seriously ill union members 430 times; taking care of Tet for workers in difficult circumstances, households, and compatriots during the Lunar New Year and supporting families of union members with serious illnesses. Proposing financial support for building and repairing 3 "Union shelters" for union members with especially difficult housing circumstances; 100% of union departments have completed their tasks well.

Speaking at the congress, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Trung Dong, Director of the Farm, praised the outstanding achievements of the Farm's grassroots Trade Union in the past period. In response to the requirements of the tasks in the coming time, the trade union organization is required to continue to improve the quality and efficiency of its operations; have many creative innovations in propaganda and mobilization of union members and workers, organize practical and effective emulation movements, creating a widespread influence in the unit. At the same time, regularly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers to propose to the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Farm to ensure policies and regimes for workers. Promote the labor production movement associated with digital transformation, promote initiatives and technical improvements, contributing to the successful completion of assigned tasks.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the congress elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 9 comrades; elected a delegation to attend the 6th Conference of the 16th Corps Trade Union, consisting of 14 official delegates, 1 alternate delegate, and elected 1 delegate to attend the 11th Congress of the Army Trade Union.
