Female worker dies in accident on her way to work in Ho Chi Minh City

At 3:00 p.m. on June 29, Binh Tan District Police (HCMC) were handling the scene of an accident between a tractor trailer and a motorbike on National Highway 1, Binh Tri Dong A Ward, which left one person dead.

According to initial information, at about 1:45 p.m. on June 29, a tractor with license plate 65H - 004.15 pulling a trailer carrying iron was running on National Highway 1 from An Suong intersection to An Lac roundabout.

When approaching Vo Tran Chi intersection (Binh Tan District), the driver changed lanes to turn right onto this street, and collided with a motorbike with license plate 83P1 - 829.68 driven by a woman in her 30s going in the same direction.

As a result, the woman was run over by the tractor trailer and died on the spot.

Authorities were present to handle the scene.

Upon receiving the news, Binh Tan District Police arrived at the scene to process the crime scene and extract security cameras from surrounding homes to clarify the cause.

According to the victim’s relatives, the woman worked for a company in Binh Tan District. She started her shift at 2 p.m. and was on her way to work when the tragic accident happened. Her workplace was more than 1 km away from the victim’s location.
