Faced with the above situation, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (Provincial Police) coordinated with the Hac Thanh Ward Police and urban rules teams to simultaneously inspect and handle spontaneous market places, temporary markets, and temporary markets, in order to restore urban order, ensure traffic safety corridors, and gradually build a civilized, orderly, green - clean - beautiful living environment.
Phu Thu Market in Phu Thu Dong Street, Hac Thanh Ward is a long-standing market formed by more than 10 households with the initial purpose of serving the essential needs of local people. However, over time, many traders from neighboring areas have brought goods here to sell, creating a complicated point for public order. Up to now, this area has about more than 30 households selling all kinds of goods. Every day during rush hour, it is very crowded, buyers and sellers stop and park their vehicles right on the sidewalk, causing traffic obstruction, potential risk of accidents, affecting environmental hygiene, not ensuring food hygiene and safety.
To clear this market, the authorities have issued warnings, handled violations, removed items encroaching on traffic safety corridors, and at the same time, propagated and mobilized people to move to concentrated market locations. For households that do not comply, the authorities will resolutely handle them strictly according to regulations.
After clearing the traffic safety corridor and ensuring clear roads and sidewalks, the grassroots forces will be assigned to stand guard to prevent households from re-encroaching on the sidewalks and resuming operations.
Along with rectifying and handling the encroachment of traffic safety corridors at Phu Thu market, the authorities continue to inspect, remind and handle cases of businesses and traders encroaching on the roadway and sidewalks along Le Loi Avenue - one of the central routes where violations of urban order often occur.
According to statistical review, currently in Hac Thanh ward there are 11 temporary markets, mainly located in densely populated areas, causing many difficulties for management. Business activities here are the livelihood of many small traders, so there needs to be a harmonious solution to avoid negative impacts on people's lives.
Along with inspection and handling measures, the authorities also strengthen propaganda to help people understand and agree, and closely coordinate with urban regulations, land administration, and market management forces to effectively resolve this situation.
