Female teacher admits to setting fire to school because she "hates" her colleagues

(Dan Tri) - A 31-year-old female teacher has just been arrested on suspicion of burning down her school due to dissatisfaction with her relationship with her colleagues. The incident happened in Japan and caused a stir in public opinion.

Recently, a kindergarten teacher in Matsubushi town, Saitama prefecture, was arrested in connection with a fire at the school.

The incident occurred on the evening of October 19. The fire burned down the floor of the teachers' room on the first floor and the library on the second floor. Fortunately, no one was at the school at the time of the incident, so there were no casualties.

Police immediately arrested Sayaka Imanari (31 years old). When reviewing security cameras, police discovered that she broke into the school before the fire broke out.

Imanari had worked here for more than 10 years. During her police interrogation, she admitted to her actions.

“I'm so bored with the relationships at this school,” Imanari said.

Authorities said they are continuing to investigate to clarify some details of the case.
