Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the People's Procuracy of Region 10, Tay Ninh Province Nguyen Thi Cam Linh

Coming from the coastal city of Nha Trang, in 2000, Comrade Cam Linh came to Tay Ninh to work in the People's Procuracy. With her constant efforts in her work, from specialist to primary and intermediate prosecutor, in 2017, she was appointed Deputy Head of the Office of Prosecution, Investigation, and Trial of Social Order Cases, and then Deputy Head of the Criminal Appeal Office.

In 2019, Comrade Cam Linh was transferred to Chau Thanh District People's Procuracy (now Region 10 People's Procuracy), holding the position of Deputy Chief Prosecutor. On July 1, 2023, he was transferred to Tay Ninh City People's Procuracy (now Region 10 People's Procuracy) and was in charge of managing the prosecution of civil, family, commercial, labor and other cases.

Under the leadership, management, direction, and cooperation of the prosecutor, comrade Cam Linh has gradually brought the civil department of the People's Procuracy of Tay Ninh City to the forefront with many impressive achievements. Specifically, in the working year 2024, comrade Cam Linh signed and issued 16 appeals at the same level against court violations. The trial results were accepted by the appellate level at a rate of more than 90%. With such quantity and quality of appeals, the People's Procuracy of Tay Ninh City received a Certificate of Merit from the People's Procuracy of Tay Ninh Province in the emulation movement "Improving the quantity and quality of appeals at the same level" and is the unit with the largest number of appeals compared to the remaining districts and towns.

Comrade Cam Linh always promotes the spirit of self-study during her work. With the initiative of When the court's judgment is violated, Comrade Cam Linh holds a meeting with all prosecutors and specialists of the department so that each individual can contribute their opinions, analyze and evaluate the court's violations, thereby gathering timely recommendations or protests. Through the lively and serious department meetings, each individual learns valuable experiences, thereby improving their professional and technical qualifications, meeting the increasingly high requirements of the job.

In particular, from October 2024 to May 2025, Comrade Cam Linh was entrusted to take charge of and manage the Tay Ninh City People's Procuracy, both operating the unit and being in charge of handling criminal cases, temporary detention, and execution of criminal sentences. This is the first time the Provincial People's Procuracy has decided to assign a female leader to manage this work at the district-level People's Procuracy. This decision is both an honor and a challenge for Comrade Cam Linh.

Determined not to disappoint the trust of his superiors, Comrade Cam Linh worked overtime in the evenings and on weekends to handle the large volume of criminal work such as approving emergency arrest warrants, prosecuting suspects, approving indictments; supervising the progress of timely reports and investigations; limiting the extension of prosecution for simple cases; periodically directly supervising wards and communes;... Comrade Cam Linh also demonstrated his mettle by resolutely refusing to approve detention orders from the Investigation Agency twice when there was no basis.

With over 50 years of experience, 25 years of professional experience and 20 years of Party membership, no matter what role he holds, Comrade Cam Linh has made important and effective contributions to the People's Procuracy. Comrade Cam Linh deserves to be a shining example of a "Fair, upright, objective, cautious, and modest" prosecutor./.
