Each article they dissect in their study sessions and manipulate the psychology of the "Saints" with the argument that the articles contain false information and have bad intentions, the Church is ready to confront.

Even after each article is published, they proclaim to the “Saints”: “Our Church is the truth. If we look at it from a spiritual perspective, Satan does not want us to receive God’s blessings, so he will use every method to separate us from our Father and Mother.”

They brainwashed the “Saints” with a whole sermon, using a few examples from old articles to affirm that the Internet is like a garbage dump, full of fake news….

They compare pagans (people who do not believe in God) to demons and constantly cram into the heads of new learners the arguments that today people use the Internet so the demons also use this tool to slander the truth, to cause loss of faith, to break the commandments and end up falling into the Lake of Fire.

Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai (born 1995) also learned similar lessons. To maintain her faith and not be hindered from joining the Church, she often misled her parents when they "guessed" that she was joining this organization.

With her communication skills and many talents, in 5 years, Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai was one of the Fruit Bearers (evangelists to bring others into the Church), including friends who were directly "fruit bearers" of Mai, and people who were indirectly guided and led by Mai to the Church. At one point, Mai managed about 20 "Saints".

Mai has been following this Church since 2016, when there was very little information about the Church on the Internet. Immersed in preaching sessions, although her hometown is only about 40 km away, Mai only returns home once every 2 months, each time only for 1 day. Because she has been staying for a while, Mai's Prophet called to urge her to limit the "Saints" from contacting relatives if they do not have faith.

“I was also threatened that if I told my parents about the Church, they would be controlled by the devil, and my soul would be destroyed. I remember my father once said: “You look smart and famous at school, they will definitely target you. I would be surprised if you didn’t join, but if you did, it would be very useful for the Church.”

My parents also suspected me and I was exposed after I preached to my friend. My friend called my family. At the same time, VTC News published an article and my parents knew for sure that their child was in the Church, but I still denied it, saying that I had quit because the Church had foreseen such cases and taught me to deny them. I also spent more time at home, taking care of my family, and did not mention the Church to distract my parents' suspicions," Mai said.

Mai still remembers clearly the first day of her missionary work. It was November 2017. At the urging of the Prophet, Mai made an appointment with a male friend who was interested in the enthusiastic MC like her to go for coffee, just as Mai was led into the organization.

However, because he was a man with a strong will, he was able to “catch” the preacher’s trick. After the first coffee date, he did not keep in touch and unfriended Mai on Facebook.

The second person Mai preached to, although he did not believe in the Church, trusted and respected Mai so he followed her, and her faith grew as a result. Mai's experience in preaching also increased, and she also supported the new "Saint" in "bearing fruit".

At the time of joining the “Church of God the Mother”, Mai and her boyfriend decided not to be together or get married because they both felt they were not compatible in many ways. When they were both evangelized and became “Saints” of this organization, Mai and her boyfriend also broke up.

However, both are good "seeds" of the organization: good students, enthusiastic about preaching, Mai sings well, her boyfriend is a musician so the Prophet asked Mai to marry this person.

Mai had been protesting against the request for a year, but her reason could not overcome the threats because they believed that this was God's law, and if she did not follow it or opposed it, she would be cursed. "If you do not get married, how can you take care of and manage more brothers and sisters?" , the Prophet had emphasized to Mai.

Mai spent time researching and asking around, only to discover that many couples secretly registered their marriages without their families knowing so that the husband could become the Group Leader and the wife could be called “the Group Leader’s wife”. And among them, there were many who were still in university like Mai.

“From childhood to adulthood, I have never hidden anything bad from my parents. Faced with such an important matter in a girl’s life, but hiding it from my relatives, I fell into a psychological crisis, my mind was torn.

I also realized that this was very dangerous, if my parents found out, I didn't know what the consequences would be. Moreover, at that time, my love for him was no longer there.

However, I was still psychologically manipulated when they thought that it was a good thing, the right thing to do, God's law. I also had no request or desire to take care of or manage many people. At that time, I was too tired, so I just wanted to finish school, graduate and hold a degree in my hand," Mai recalled.

But in the end, Mai still had to find a way to hide it from her family and secretly register her marriage with her ex-lover, to legalize all the requirements of the Church. After getting married, Mai still lived with another sister in this organization. However, this organization asked Mai to live with her newly married husband. That was something the girl had never thought of and did not want.

Mai was again stuffed with the idea of ​​not taking the easy path, taking the difficult path but the path God wanted, being with the person God wanted.

However, Mai still persistently protested to defend her point of view, but received angry and somewhat discriminatory looks from the Prophet because he thought Mai's faith was weak. Many "Saints" who followed this Prophet also showed an attitude of avoiding Mai. She felt even more pressured because at this time Mai really needed love from everyone.

After many things, Mai gradually realized that if she did not follow the Church's request, there would be prophets who would consider her as an opposition. After a period of mental struggle, Mai also followed the Prophet's words, moved in with her husband and believed that, with God's protection, no one would discover this matter.

However, the needle in the bag eventually came out, no God could protect and keep Mai’s marriage secret. Her husband’s mother and sister found out. This was also the event that marked Mai’s doubt of the Prophet’s words and saw that this organization had problems. The Church of truth, but taught “Saints” to speak untrue things.

This organization also dug up VTC News articles published in 2018 about the "Church of God the Mother", and said they were slanderous, asking Mai and those in positions in the Church to write a petition to the Government , and at the same time cut their blood and fingerprints.

“Around May 2018, everyone - including me - wrote a petition, cut their blood and left a fingerprint, but after a while, the Church canceled the petition. I don’t know why,” Mai added.

According to Mai, it did not stop there. Just a few months later, the organization asked those in positions to write a commitment not to use the Internet to search for information about the Church, and not to use Facebook or Zalo.

When questioning, Mai was taught a lesson with the content that the devil is in the pockets of those in positions, implicitly referring to the phone. According to the content of the lecture, the devil will tempt God's children, if they use the phone a lot, they will be lured by the devil and asked people in positions like Mai to write a commitment not to use the phone to access social networks, and Group Leaders to completely delete their Facebook accounts.

“ Although I have a large following on Facebook, I have locked my account for 2 years and my work has been difficult. However, the Prophet said, keep praying and God will bless you, ” Mai laughed bitterly when recalling the days when she blindly believed in superstitious and baseless words.

Mai’s faith in the Church was eroded as she discovered more and more of their lies and betrayals. Mai said that around 2017-2018, Mai and the “Saints” were taught that brothers and sisters in the Church were spiritual brothers and sisters, had the same parents, and were not allowed to love each other.

At that time, someone who violated this had renounced the faith and left the Church. However, later, the Church needed a couple to manage and lead, and they arranged for people in it to love and marry each other. If anyone questioned, they would cite the argument that the law changes over time, from year to year. Just that one detail, Mai saw the lack of unity in this organization.
