In the first half of 2025, auto market sales increased by 21%

(DN) - According to the report of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), in June, the total sales of the market reached more than 31,900 vehicles. Of which, the sales of domestically assembled vehicles reached more than 14,300 vehicles, up 4% compared to the previous month. The sales of imported vehicles reached about 17,600 vehicles, up 14% compared to the previous month.

In the first half of 2025, total car sales of VAMA members reached more than 163,000 vehicles, an increase of 21% over the same period in 2024. When adding up the data of VAMA and car manufacturers announcing their own sales (Hyundai and VinFast ), the entire domestic car market consumed more than 254,700 vehicles in the first 6 months of this year.

Top 10 best-selling car models in the first 6 months of 2025 include: VinFast VF3, VinFast VF5, Mitsubishi Xpander, Ford Ranger, VinFast VF6, Mazda CX-5, Toyota Yaris Cross, Toyota Vios, Ford Everest, Ford Territory.

According to many car dealers in Long Binh ward, the car market in the first months of this year has had many positive changes. During this summer, many car companies and dealers have promoted stimulus programs and preferential registration fees to attract customers.
