According to the Department of Education and Training, although the construction of standard schools has received attention, many schools cannot be recognized as meeting standards for reasons such as lack of area, planning problems, lack of land use rights certificates, inadequate facilities, pressure on student numbers, etc.
To ensure facilities, teaching equipment, comprehensively improve the quality as well as the work of building schools that meet national standards, the education sector of Dong Nai province will effectively use capital sources from the state budget, especially capital sources from national target programs, programs, projects and approved projects for the education and training sector. Advise competent authorities to supplement the regular budget for educational institutions to ensure that spending on teaching and learning activities reaches a minimum rate of 19% of total regular expenditure (not including expenditure from tuition fees) according to regulations. At the same time, promote socialization and mobilize investment resources for education. Strengthen conditions for developing the network of schools and classes and ensure minimum facilities and teaching equipment according to regulations. Continue to solidify schools and classrooms, eliminate temporary classrooms; Developing schools and classrooms in rapidly growing population areas and densely populated areas, especially investing in building national standard kindergartens and primary schools.
