In recent days, due to the impact of heavy rain combined with water flowing from upstream, the water level in canals and ditches in Ba Chuc commune has increased rapidly, causing flooding in many vegetable areas of farmers.
In Ong Tuong mound area, Vinh Hoa hamlet alone, about 8 hectares of chili and vegetables were affected. Most of the area is in the harvesting stage, posing a high risk of damage.

Faced with that situation, the local government mobilized the Farmers' Association, Military Command, union members, youth and farmers to actively reinforce and upgrade weak dike sections, and urgently overcome landslides to protect production areas.
According to the People's Committee of Ba Chuc commune, in the coming time, the locality will closely monitor the water level situation, direct hamlets to regularly check and promptly reinforce weak dike sections, ensure safety for vegetable growing areas, and minimize damage to farmers.
