Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sinh was elected Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee.

Kinhtedothi- On the morning of March 4, 2025, the People's Council of Lao Cai province, term XVI, held its 26th session (session to resolve arising work). One of the important contents of this session is to elect the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term XVI, 2021-2026, and elect members of the Provincial People's Committee.

Attending the meeting were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province Trinh Xuan Truong; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lao Cai province Vu Xuan Cuong.

One of the important contents of the 26th session of the People's Council of Lao Cai province, term XVI, term 2021-2026, is to elect Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term XVI, term 2021-2026, and elect members of the Provincial People's Committee.

The meeting conducted the process of dismissing Ms. Giang Thi Dung from the position of Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 16th term, 2021-2026. Previously, Ms. Giang Thi Dung was assigned, mobilized and appointed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Lao Cai City Party Committee, for the 2020-2025 term, from February 10, 2025. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy was dismissed from the position of member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 16th term, 2021-2026, Ms. Dinh Minh Ha was assigned to receive other tasks. Mr. Ngo Duc Anh, Do Van Duy, Bui Khac Hien, and Ha Van Thang retired according to regulations.

Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate the new Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (right) and member of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary and Provincial People's Committee Chairman Trinh Xuan Truong presented a report on the election of additional Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee and member of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, term XVI, 2021-2026; and a report on the election of additional member of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, term XVI, 2021-2025.

Accordingly, introduce comrade Nguyen Thanh Sinh, member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chief Inspector of the province, to be elected by the Provincial People's Council session to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; introduce comrade Tran Minh Sang, member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, to be elected by the Provincial People's Council to be a member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 16th term, 2021-2026 term.

As a result, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sinh and Mr. Tran Minh Sang were unanimously elected by 49/49 delegates present at the meeting to hold the positions of Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee and member of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee for the 16th term, 2021-2026.

Leaders of the Provincial People's Council presented flowers to congratulate the new Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and member of the Provincial People's Committee.

The meeting passed a Resolution on the dismissal of the Vice Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, term XVI, 2021-2026; a Resolution on confirming the election results of the Vice Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, term XVI, 2021-2026; a Resolution on the dismissal of a member of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, term XVI, 2021-2026; a Resolution on the election of a member of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, term XVI, 2021-2026.
