Must be dismantled before January 15, 2025

The People's Committee of Binh Thuan province requested Mr. Cao Thanh Sang, the owner of an illegal villa of hundreds of square meters in Tanh Linh district, to demolish it before January 15, 2025.

On December 26, information from the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province said that the leaders of the People's Committee of the province sent an official dispatch to the Department of Construction and the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district regarding the handling of illegal construction works of Mr. Cao Thanh Sang, residing in Hamlet 1, Gia An Commune, Tanh Linh District.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches and localities to guide the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district to complete the procedures and documents to handle construction works that violate villa construction order.

Tanh Linh district urgently reviewed and completed the dossier of Mr. Cao Thanh Sang's construction violation, according to the comments of the Department of Construction, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Justice and Provincial Police to report to the Provincial People's Committee before January 1, 2025.

"Notify Mr. Cao Thanh Sang to complete the demolition of the above-mentioned construction violating construction order by January 15, 2025. After the demolition period, if Mr. Cao Thanh Sang does not comply, enforcement will be carried out according to the law. At the same time, monitor and direct the demolition process of Mr. Cao Thanh Sang's construction and report to the Provincial People's Committee on this matter weekly," the document stated.

The outside of the illegally built villa has not been demolished by the owner.

According to the Economic Infrastructure Department of Tanh Linh district in early December, the leaders of the district People's Committee held a meeting to review the records of administrative violations in the construction field against Mr. Cao Thanh Sang, village 1, Gia An commune.

Up to now, Mr. Cao Thanh Sang’s voluntary demolition of the illegal construction is behind schedule compared to the original commitment. The homeowner did not continue to dismantle the illegal part, but instead used corrugated iron to surround the construction.

Through many meetings, the local government has invited Mr. Sang to work directly with him 11 times. However, the homeowner has not yet fulfilled his commitment.

The villa of Mr. Cao Thanh Sang, village 1, Gia An commune is located in a campus of thousands of square meters on DT720 road, bordering Tanh Linh and Duc Linh districts (Binh Thuan).

On March 15, 2022, the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district (Binh Thuan province) discovered and administratively sanctioned Mr. Cao Thanh Sang for constructing a project without a construction permit.

After that, he did not correct the violation and continued to build other items here. After more than two years of being asked to dismantle the illegal construction, the villa owner has still not voluntarily complied with the demolition.
