According to the reporter's investigation, 20.2km of service roads and crossroads are still obstructed by houses and structures of local residents, and some households have been compensated but have not yet relocated. Da Nang City has directed the People's Committees of communes to focus on resolving the problems to hand over the clean site to the contractor to complete the construction of service roads, crossroads, highway fences, etc.
The Department of Construction requested the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board to continue to closely coordinate with the locality to continue to review the problems between reality and design to make adjustments if necessary, organize the construction neatly, complete each item and ensure environmental sanitation, labor safety, traffic safety to minimize problems affecting people's lives.
It is known that during the construction process, the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board presided over and coordinated with the People's Committee of Hoa Khanh Ward and related units to regularly inspect the site to remove obstacles in the site. Thereby, directing the contractor to develop a reasonable construction plan, minimizing the impact on people's lives. At the same time, strengthen the inspection of traffic safety, environmental sanitation, improve the drainage system, promptly handle existing problems according to feedback, listen to people's opinions, have appropriate solutions, and ensure absolute safety during the construction process.
According to the report of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board, in Phu Thuong village (Hoa Khanh ward), the contractor is focusing on constructing the cross-road section connecting from the underpass (next to Trung bridge) to the parallel service road on both sides of the route. Up to now, the contractor has completed the construction of the roadbed, filling up the entire gravel layer of the connecting route to facilitate people's traffic; the road surface and drainage system will be completed in September 2025.
