Promoting the spirit of August Revolution and National Day September 2nd to move forward steadily

These days, our entire Party, people and army are enthusiastically organizing many activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Enjoying an independent, free, prosperous and happy life, in the hearts of every Vietnamese person, patriotism, national pride and self-respect are rising, joining hands to overcome all difficulties and challenges so that our country can continue to achieve glorious victories in the next stages.

After the success of the August Revolution, on September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh solemnly read the Declaration of Independence, declaring to the world : “Vietnam has the right to enjoy freedom and independence, and in fact has become a free and independent country. The entire Vietnamese people are determined to devote all their spirit and strength, their lives and property to maintain that freedom and independence.” The Declaration of Independence officially gave birth to the first worker-peasant state in Southeast Asia - the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. 78 years have passed, President Ho Chi Minh's declaration still resounds with pride from the historic Ba Dinh Square. The immortal spirit of the August Revolution, the ardent patriotism and the idea that nothing is more precious than independence and freedom of Uncle Ho were passed down from generation to generation by the entire Party, people and army, creating great victories in the revolutionary stages. Our army and people, with their steadfast faith in the leadership of the Party, with the strength and unyielding will of the great national unity, defeated two invasions of colonialists and imperialists, the peak of which was the victory of Dien Bien Phu in 1954 and the Ho Chi Minh campaign to completely liberate the South, unify the country in 1975, and bring the whole country into the period of building socialism. Then, our entire Party, people and army united in one heart to successfully carry out the wars to defend the Fatherland, carry out the renovation process, conquer the goal of "rich people, strong country, democracy, equality, civilization", and achieve great achievements of historical significance. Our country has never had the foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it does today.

The anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 this year coincides with the occasion for Party committees at all levels to conduct a mid-term review of the implementation of the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term. Since the beginning of the term, amid numerous difficulties and challenges, once again the spirit of patriotism, self-reliance, and the strength of the great national unity bloc have continued to be promoted for Vietnam to create new miracles. These achievements will create new motivation, confidence, and spirit for our entire Party, people, and army to firmly step forward on the path to realizing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country.
78 years of the nation's heroic history, the oath of independence with President Ho Chi Minh's ardent patriotism and the idea that nothing is more precious than independence and freedom, like a sacred flame that lights the way for the Party and people of Thai Binh to create glorious miracles, contributing significantly to the victory of the country's revolutionary cause. Thai Binh today is rising up to keep pace with the general development of the whole country, is in the group with high economic growth rate in the Red River Delta region, and is an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors. The appearance from urban to rural areas has changed significantly towards civilization and modernity. The material and spiritual life of the people is constantly improving and rising.

The 78th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 is an opportunity for people of all walks of life, especially the young generation, to better understand the historical and practical values of the August Revolution and the everlasting significance of the Declaration of Independence, thereby applying and promoting the valuable lessons and contemporary ideas of the August Revolution in the cause of innovation, promoting industrialization and modernization of the country, and firmly defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

Promoting the spirit of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Party Committee and people of Thai Binh vow to unite, strive to compete with the highest determination to successfully complete the socio-economic development goals and tasks in 2023 and the entire 2020-2025 term. Continue to effectively implement the resolutions and conclusions of the 4th Central Conference (terms XI, XII, XIII) on strengthening the building and rectification of the Party and the clean and strong political system associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, successfully implementing the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, building a strong and prosperous Vietnam, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers as beloved Uncle Ho always wished.
