(QNO) - This morning, January 27, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province Le Van Dung visited and extended New Year greetings to village elders and prestigious people in lowland communes of Nam Giang district. Joining the delegation was Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee Phan Thai Binh .
Meeting with village elders and prestigious people of Nam Giang district, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Dung informed that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, the Provincial Party Committee organized many delegations to visit and extend New Year greetings in many localities; with priority given to remote areas and disadvantaged ethnic minority areas.
Comrade Le Van Dung sent his warm regards to village elders and prestigious people and presented many gifts (each worth 1 million VND along with gifts); wishing every family and every person a happy and warm Tet.
"This is the province's sentiment to the village elders and prestigious people. Although it is not material, it contains a lot of sentiment, including the cooperation of many units and businesses towards the highlands. In the coming time, I hope the village elders and prestigious people will continue to promote the tradition of their homeland, and encourage their children and families to well implement the policies of the Party and the State," said Le Van Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
On this occasion, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Dung and leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command came to extend New Year greetings and present gifts to representatives of the Standing Committee of the Nam Giang District Party Committee.
