Also attending were representatives of the departments of finance, agriculture and environment; representatives of the People's Committees of wards in Da Lat and leaders of the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1.
The working session focused on discussing urban traffic planning and identifying key traffic projects that need priority investment in the Da Lat urban area to increase connectivity between wards and especially reduce traffic congestion in the central urban area and promote local socio -economic development.

According to the Department of Construction's report, although road traffic infrastructure has been significantly improved, the central urban area of Da Lat still has many limitations.
Specifically, the traffic system is not synchronized, lacks smooth connection between external and internal traffic, and has not closed the belt routes. Local traffic congestion still occurs frequently in the central area, affecting the daily life and economic activities of the people.

To solve traffic congestion, the Department of Construction has proposed a list of priority traffic projects for investment. This list includes belt roads, with 5 main routes.
In addition, the Department also proposed prioritizing investment in expanding and repairing damaged and narrow main roads in the area, in order to improve traffic capacity and reduce local traffic congestion.

Specifically, the Department of Construction reported and proposed the following categories in the central area: Project to expand National Highway 20 through the center of Xuan Truong ward; Upgrading and expanding the following roads: Ngo Gia Tu, Lam Vien ward - Da Lat; road from Than Tho lake to Huynh Tan Phat street (QL 27C) Lam Vien ward - Da Lat; Trang Trinh street, Lam Vien ward - Da Lat; Project to build a new Tran Quy Cap bridge; Project to upgrade and expand Van Kiep street, Lam Vien ward - Da Lat; To Hieu street, Lang Biang ward - Da Lat; An Binh street, Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat; Tran Le street, Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat; Phan Boi Chau street, Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat; Hoang Hoa Tham street, Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat.

Concluding the working session, Comrade Nguyen Hong Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Transport to carefully review the lists, in which the Department of Construction was assigned to propose and register the list in advance with the Department of Finance to implement the next steps. In particular, carefully review the existing lists in medium-term public investment; review reasonable calculations on scale, total investment, nature of works, projects and essentiality...
He also emphasized: In the context of the area where the connectivity of the belt routes is not yet synchronous; the central road is too narrow and especially the drainage system is very poor, the renovation and investment in surface drainage must also be considered a priority.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested that in addition to determining the scale and urgency of investing in which urban traffic belt route first, it is necessary to pay special attention to the urban drainage system, there must be a plan to ensure surface drainage, prevent landslides and ensure safety for the system of houses and land on both sides of the road, especially the negative slope area.
You have to calculate the scale of each route, calculate whether land acquisition is possible or not? Is there a possibility of resettlement when affecting people's land or not to determine the effectiveness of the projects.
Comrade Nguyen Hong Hai, Nguyen Hong Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee emphasized
