These days, the rice fields in Ninh Binh are wearing a golden color, signaling a bumper crop. Along the river, the golden rice fields, associated with beautiful caves... the unique elements of the scenic spots in Ninh Binh are extremely loved by tourists, especially photography enthusiasts. This year's Photo tour program Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An is also very attractive to photographers from 3 regions of the country.

Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, Director of Ninh Binh Tourism Information and Promotion Center (Ninh Binh Department of Tourism) said: The Phototour program Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An is an annual event in the series of activities of Ninh Binh Tourism Week. And this year, the program is associated with the activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang An being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage, so our Organizing Committee has planned the promotion very early. We propose that the leaders of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists select and invite photographers from provinces and cities (70 artists) to participate in the program.

According to the Organizing Committee, the beauty of the rice fields has such great appeal that it is estimated that the number of participating artists is up to nearly 200 people. The "photographers" come from groups, clubs, photographer associations, press reporters and photography enthusiasts nationwide to attend the Photo tour.

The largest group of photographers came from the Ninh Binh Province Literature and Arts Association (30 photographers), followed by the group of photographers from the Association of Photographic Artists from Ho Chi Minh City (13 people), Hanoi (9 people). Units such as Thai Binh Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Dong Thap, Quang Binh and Phu Tho, each locality also had 3 to 4 photographers... participating.

In particular, there are many female photographers from the South who book flights to Tam Coc - Bich Dong. Specifically, from Ho Chi Minh City, there are female photographers Kim Lan, Thu Tho, Thu Ba, Tuyet Mai, Minh Ha... and from Dong Thap, there are Bich Lieu, Kim Cuong, Xuan Thuy.

On the morning of June 1, 2024, the artists participating in the Photo Tour Program of Golden Colors of Tam Coc - Trang An from Ninh Binh city started moving to Tam Coc. They sat on the boat and learned more information from people who love the beautiful scenery of Tam Coc sharing their experiences. To get beautiful pictures, you have to go early, move quickly to compete with the sunlight, especially with festivals, and also compete with the atmosphere on the river... Just after 13:00, many peaks and favorable locations have photographers waiting.

It was still nearly 2 hours before the procession passed the rice fields that were used to create the painting "The Shepherd Playing the Flute ", but on the top of Khe Gioi there were already over 30 photographers. Mr. Hai Huy, the Head of the Association of Photographic Artists of Quang Ninh Province, also chose a satisfactory angle. He exclaimed, "The Tam Coc fields are so beautiful, so attractive. If we had more time and better health, we would definitely find more mountain peaks, choose more beautiful frames, and more unique angles!"

With a lot of photography equipment, coming down from the top of the mountain, Mr. Vu Thanh Nam (Nam Dinh) said, the rice ripens really quickly, two days ago I came to find camera angles and "text" a few ways to prepare for today, but today the rice is already golden. He said, in previous years, Phototour had years of rain. With the rice fields being so beautiful, but the low light and fog are the enemies of photographers. Today was really lucky and the best thing was when the procession on the river from Hang Ca to Hang Hai, the sky was cloudy, suddenly the sunlight came on. The sunlight lasted until the procession from Hang Hai entered Hang Ba. The long period of sunshine was enough for photographers to take pictures.

His companion, Mr. Chu The Vinh, added: This year, the painting "Shepherd playing the flute" is the highlight of Ninh Binh Tourism Week. The talent of the agricultural artist has amazed tourists. It has inspired passionate creations for photographers like us.

Unlike some previous times, this year the weather is very favorable for photography enthusiasts. The green mountains, white clouds, golden rice fields… where the sacred souls of mountains and rivers, heaven and earth bestowed upon Tam Coc - Trang An will be a source of inspiration for many art forms.

Today, the photographers sat on the boat and chatted enthusiastically and intimately with the local people as if welcoming their long-lost relatives back. Once again, the Tam Coc - Trang An Golden Season photography tour affirmed the attraction of the ancient capital to friends near and far.
