Parents stormed into classroom and beat 8th grade student

On September 25, Mr. Le Cong Thong, Principal of Nguyen Du Secondary School (located in Tam Ky City, Quang Nam ), confirmed that a parent entered the classroom and beat a student on the afternoon of September 24.

According to Mr. Thong, on the morning of September 25, the school also invited parents and 3 8th grade students to work.

According to initial information, on the morning of September 24, two students from grades 8/9 and one student from grade 8/11 got into a fight while playing.

The 8/11th grade student then borrowed the phone of the school security guard to call his parents. The male parent went to the school to take his child to the hospital; then this parent returned to school in the afternoon of the same day, went into the 8/9th grade class and beat the student who had a conflict with his child. Security guards and teachers intervened to stop him, then this male parent left.

Mr. Thong said the school has asked the homeroom teacher to call these three students to write a report.

"We must stop this immediately, not let it happen again. First of all, students fighting in school is a violation. Maybe the parents are a bit angry, but we must be thorough, because protecting students is the school's responsibility," said Mr. Thong.

According to Mr. Thong, yesterday afternoon, September 24, the school was having a sports activity in the school yard, so many parents were there to cheer for their children. Therefore, when the male parent entered, the security guard could not stop him in time.

Mr. Thong also shared that the school does not make a small incident into a big one, but must immediately stop this to ensure student safety and put an end to the situation of students being beaten.
