Phu Ninh adjusts land use planning according to Quang Nam Provincial Planning

(QNO) - At the 24th conference held this morning, April 9, Phu Ninh District Party Committee discussed and agreed on adjusting the land use planning (LWP) to 2030 of the district based on the proposal of the District People's Committee.

Phu Ninh District People's Committee said that through reviewing the Quang Nam Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 72 dated January 17, 2024, compared with the land use indicators in the Land Use Planning to 2030 of Phu Ninh District approved by Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 1019 dated May 23, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee, there are some land use indicators in the Land Use Planning of Phu Ninh District that are not suitable and need to be adjusted.

In which, for agricultural land, the land use target by 2030 in the provincial planning is 18,904.22 hectares; and the land use target by 2030 in the Phu Ninh district land use planning is 18,864.93 hectares.

Thus, the target in the district's land use planning is 39.29 hectares lower than the target in the provincial planning. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the agricultural land area in the district by 2030 to ensure compliance with the provincial planning of 18,904.22 hectares.

Regarding industrial cluster land, according to Phu Ninh district's land use planning, by 2030, the industrial cluster land area will be 289.35 hectares, an increase of 259.11 hectares compared to the current status. According to the provincial planning by 2030, the industrial cluster land area will be 250.06 hectares, an increase of 219.82 hectares compared to the current status. Accordingly, the area that needs to be adjusted down for industrial cluster land to match the provincial planning is 39.29 hectares...

Through reviewing the project lists approved by the Provincial People's Committee, to suit the current land use needs, the People's Committee of Phu Ninh district proposed to add a new list of projects and adjust the area of ​​project lists for each land type according to the planning.
