Phu Tho welcomes about 5.5 million visitors on Hung Kings' death anniversary

During the 10 days of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Anniversary and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025, from March 29 to April 7 (ie from March 1 to the end of March 10 of the lunar calendar) in Phu Tho, it is estimated to welcome about 5.5 million visitors.

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the 10 days of the festival, Phu Tho province welcomed about 5.5 million people and tourists from all over the country to visit the Ancestral Land, participate in festival activities, visit and practice the Hung Kings worship. In particular, on the two peak days of Saturday (April 5) and Sunday (April 6), the Hung Kings Temple historical relic site recorded a sudden increase in the number of visitors.

This year, many art programs, folk cultural performances and sports activities were organized, bringing a bustling and attractive festival atmosphere. Although some festival activities this year had to be temporarily suspended or postponed, it did not reduce the appeal of the unique cultural, sports and tourism activities that were organized methodically, safely and effectively.

The number of visitors increased dramatically at the Hung Temple historical site during the last 2 days of the weekend.

The work of ensuring security, order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, fire prevention and fighting, and medical work is deployed synchronously by functional forces, contributing to maintaining order and ensuring absolute safety for people and tourists.

The Hung Kings Commemoration Festival and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025 have ended with many good impressions. The ceremony was held solemnly and respectfully; the festival was exciting, joyful, and united, demonstrating the tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking" of the nation and contributing to promoting the image of Phu Tho - the land of the nation's origin - to friends and tourists at home and abroad.
