Phu Tho strives to complete the elimination of temporary houses before August 25.

Implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, the whole province has eliminated 10,801 temporary and dilapidated houses, reaching 100% of the plan; (7,479 new houses built, 3,322 houses repaired). Of which: The number of houses for families of meritorious people and relatives of martyrs is 1,475 houses; the number of houses supported under the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction is 2,347 houses; the number of houses supported under the National Target Program for Development of Ethnic Minority Areas is 1,149 houses; the number of houses for poor and near-poor households supported for new construction and repair is 5,830 houses.

Officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command supported working days to demolish temporary houses for poor households in Xuan Dai commune.

To ensure the progress of the Program implementation, Phu Tho province has directed the timely arrangement and allocation of support funds for communes and wards to disburse to supported households. Many organizations and individuals have donated money and materials so that households have more resources to build and repair houses. In addition, forces have contributed more than 32,000 working days to help households build, repair, transport materials, level the ground... in which: The military supported 19,288 working days, the police force, socio-political organizations and people of all walks of life supported 12,865 working days; supported a total of nearly 16,000 vehicles and construction machines...

Up to now, the houses have been basically completed. The whole province strives to complete the construction and repair of all houses for the subjects of the Program before August 25, 2025.
