Dong Da Ward (new) completed the work of beautifying streets and headquarters.

According to the reporter's records, on the afternoon of June 29, the ward's office completed the change of location and office name according to the new administrative boundary and notified the people for convenient contact at work.

Over the past few days, preparations for the festival to announce the operation of the two-level local government have been actively carried out by Dong Da ward. The celebration with flags, flowers, banners and welcome slogans has been carefully carried out.

Previously, in order to prepare well for the operation of the ward-level administrative unit on July 1, the ward announced information about the working headquarters of Dong Da ward (new) for people to conveniently monitor and contact for work.

Through understanding, it shows that people in the ward are excited and support the two-level local government model and believe that when the new model comes into operation, it will create many conveniences for people in handling administrative procedures; promoting local socio -economic development.

Ms. Phan Thuy Rim (former Trung Liet ward) expressed her confidence in the transformation from a three-tiered local government model to a two-tiered one. “For the people in general and me personally, the feeling at this moment is very exciting. We completely trust the Party and State’s guidelines and policies and have been eagerly waiting for this event for many days,” Ms. Rim shared.

Also this afternoon, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio -political organizations of Dong Da ward organized a general environmental cleaning campaign to contribute to ensuring a "Bright - green - clean - beautiful" environment in the area.

Participating in the activities, union members, youths and women's union officials coordinated to carry out activities such as: environmental sanitation, removing illegal advertisements and classified ads, cleaning the landscape inside and outside the premises of the new Dong Da ward headquarters. In addition, people also actively participated in environmental sanitation, removing illegal advertisements and classified ads on the streets in the ward.
