Hai An Ward focuses on clearing land for 10 key projects

Hai An Ward (Hai Phong) focuses on directing drastic site clearance and implementing compensation and resettlement support to serve 10 key projects in the area.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu, Party Secretary, Chairwoman of Hai An Ward People's Council gave a speech at the 4th meeting of the Ward Party Executive Committee.

This is one of the key tasks that the Hai An Ward Party Committee focuses on leading and directing resolutely in the last months of 2025.

Among the 10 projects, there are many key projects of the Central and the city being implemented in the ward such as: Investment project to build the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line; Investment project to build the Ring Road 2 section Tan Vu - Hung Dao - Bui Vien street; Investment project to develop infrastructure of Nam Trang Cat industrial park; project related to construction and expansion of Cat Bi International Airport; Investment project to build the Southeast ring road, section from the foot of Cau Rao Bridge to the intersection with Hanoi - Hai Phong highway; 110kV transmission line project after the 220kV Duong Kinh transformer station...

Comrade Cao Tri Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai An Ward reported on the socio -economic development results of the ward in the past 9 months.

Previously, the ward promptly directed the issuance of a plan, established and signed a project progress critical path with the Hai An Regional Project Management Board; established a working group for propaganda and mobilization, and clearly assigned the responsibilities of the leader. Synchronously deployed solutions: dialogue, mobilization, and extensive propaganda; resolutely applied administrative measures according to regulations for cases of non-compliance.

Hai An Ward held a conference to review the implementation of work content in the third quarter and deploy key tasks for the last 3 months of the year.

Up to now, for the Ring Road 2 project, the ward has paid 286,631/324,208 billion VND to 384/419 households, issued 35 enforcement decisions, organized dialogues and 5 households received money, 14 households cleaned up their property.

For the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong Railway Project, the ward has completed the inventory and collected opinions on the plan. At the Nam Trang Cat Industrial Park project, the ward issued a decision on compulsory inventory and a coercive plan.

Projects at Cat Bi International Airport have completed marking, price appraisal, and gradually handled the remaining defense land, issued enforcement decisions to 17 households who have not yet complied with the contract, issued enforcement decisions to the Agricultural Investment and Development Joint Stock Company and households with rights and obligations related to the Cargo Terminal Construction Project. For the Southeast Ring Road project, 11/13 households were mobilized to hand over 14,951.85 m².

The remaining projects have completed land origin identification, reclamation notification, and inventory according to procedures. The ward strives to complete the handover milestones in October 2025.
