Pickleball D-Joy: The only representative of Vietnam in the Global Pickleball Alliance

A historic milestone has just been marked in the Pickleball community worldwide when the first Global Pickleball Alliance was born, bringing together 7 prestigious founding organizations from the US, Canada, Europe, India, Australia, UK, and Vietnam.

This is the first and largest alliance , bringing together countries and organizations that own a strong Pickleball foundation, namely The Association of Pickleball Players (APP - USA), Canadian National Pickleball League (CNPL - Canada), European Pickleball Federation (EPF - c Europe), Global Sports (India), National Pickleball League (NPL - Australia), Pickleball England (UK ) and Pickleball D-Joy (Vietnam), opening a turning point to bring this sport to international sports standards and aiming to appear at the SEA Games, Asian Games and Olympics. The alliance will together build a comprehensive ecosystem from a unified international competition schedule, a professional global ranking system, a transparent prize structure to commercial agreements, scholarships and financial resources to support athletes.

Mr. Dang Quang Anh - Vice President and Founder of Pickleball D-Joy, the sole representative of Vietnam in the alliance, shared: "This global alliance is proof that Pickleball has entered a new page in history - from a community movement to an international professional sport. International cooperation is the key to creating a sustainable ecosystem, in which athletes are at the center, with guaranteed rights, opportunities and a clear career path ." The first global Pickleball Alliance brings together 7 prestigious founding organizations

The Alliance plans to announce the 2026 international competition schedule with at least 30 major tournaments in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, India and Vietnam. The tournaments will be divided into three categories with corresponding reward systems and ranking points. In particular, the Unified Global Rankings will officially apply from the 2026 season, ensuring that all international athletes are evaluated fairly and transparently, regardless of their country of competition. The Alliance also welcomes many new partners, continuing to strengthen and affirm Pickleball as one of the fastest growing sports on the planet.

According to Mr. Ken Herrmann, Founder of APP ( USA ) : "This is a great milestone for global Pickleball and APP is honored to be associated with such dedicated international organizations. This alliance will open up more competitive opportunities for athletes, while enhancing the prestige and professionalism of the sport ."

Agreeing, Karen Mitchell, Chair of Pickleball England ( UK ), emphasized: " This partnership helps athletes plan their entire season as tournaments complement each other rather than compete. This is a big step towards Pickleball becoming truly global . "

From a community development perspective, Mr. Shashank Khaitan, Founder of Global Sports (India) , shared: "The global tournament schedule is a shared commitment to develop Pickleball, build a clear roadmap for athletes and create a world Pickleball community , because community engagement is the soul of this sport ."
