The Politburo appointed Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong as Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, was assigned and appointed by the Politburo to be Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

On the afternoon of September 30, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel work. At the conference, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision on the transfer, assignment, and appointment of Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, to join the Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and hold the position of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Secretary for the 2025-2030 term.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized that Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong is a cadre who grew up from the grassroots, experienced many working positions in Lao Cai province, and is considered a cadre with mettle, leadership capacity, and rich experience in Party building and state management, with a scientific mindset, decisive and profound working methods.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung affirmed that Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong was entrusted by the Politburo and the Secretariat with a new responsibility, both ensuring the correct implementation of the policy of arranging provincial party secretaries who are not local people, and showing trust and recognition for Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong's personal capacity and prestige.

Mr. Le Minh Hung hopes that in his new position, the new Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Trinh Xuan Truong, will pay special attention to the work of building a clean and strong Party and political system, considering this a key condition and foundation to help Thai Nguyen make a breakthrough and become a rich, beautiful and civilized province.

Previously, on September 29, the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, announced the Politburo's decision on the transfer, assignment, and appointment of Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Central Committee, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, to join the Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025 - 2030.
